Fixing Yahoo Messenger problems 100 percent
Hi everyone
One of the problems we've probably all faced is Yahoo Messenger not working on some systems. In this post I want to bring you the good news that you can fix this problem, and it definitely works.

There are several different things you should do, all of them to be sure, to get Yahoo Messenger working.
Fix one: One of our friends, Mr. Behzad, said that to log in to Messenger your system date must be correct. That is, the Gregorian date shown next to the clock must be correct. To find out today's Gregorian (or Persian solar and lunar) date, you can go to http://time.ir.
Fix two: The problem is in Internet Explorer, and it may be fixed by resetting Internet Explorer. To do this, search for inetcpl.cpl in the Windows Start menu to open Internet Options. Then go to the Advanced tab and click the Reset button. In the box that opens, check Delete personal settings and then click the Reset button. This resets all of Internet Explorer's settings and fixes many Yahoo Messenger problems too.
Fix three: One of our friends, Mr. Mehran, said: uninstalling the latest version of Yahoo Messenger and installing the previous version fixes the problem.
Fix four: One of our friends, Mr. Reza, said: updating the operating system also fixes the Yahoo Messenger problem.
Fix five: Another of our friends, Ms. Arezoo, said that sometimes people create a temporary dial-up connection, but that connection gets selected as the default connection in Yahoo Messenger, and the next time they want to connect with high-speed internet it won't connect. Many people don't notice that the network default has changed; in this case they need to go and change the default back to what it was.
Fix six: The problem is Java not working properly or not being installed. First open the Run box by holding the (Windows logo + R) keys on your keyboard at the same time. Now type regsvr32 jscript.dll and press Enter. Then type regsvr32 vbscript.dll and press Enter. After that type regsvr32 msxml3.dll and press Enter. And finally type regsvr32 scrrun.dll and press Enter. If this doesn't fix the problem, or you see an error message after one of the commands above, you need to download the latest Java JRE from Java.com using a proxy, and if you don't have a proxy, search Persian websites to find the Java JRE for download. After installing Java the problem will be fixed.
Fix seven: The problem is fixed by tweaking the registry. First open the Run box, type regedit and press Enter. In the program that opens, use the left panel to go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones. Now check that the Zones folder contains exactly five entries (0, 1, 2, 3 and 4). Delete anything other than these and restart the system when you're done. Your problem will be fixed.
Fix eight: The problem is caused by a broken DirectX, which usually gives the error message Missing DLL d3d10core.dll when running the program. To fix this, install the latest version of DirectX. You can download this file from p30Download.
Best of luck...
